Mohegan Sun operates casinos in Pennsylvania and Connecticut, two areas that are aggressively going after the Atlantic City casino gambling industry. The company, however, saw profits drop almost twenty-five percent in the fourth quarter.

Creditors have now agreed to a new plan that would bring Greektown Casino in Detroit, Michigan, out of bankruptcy. If the current timeline holds up, the casino would emerge from bankruptcy next summer.
